Full Job Description

Job Summary

Sunnyside Marina is seeking an organized, personable Office Manager to run the daily operations of our Marina Office. This person will be the hub of our office, supporting the General Manager and Operations Manager while serving as a friendly, reliable point of contact for our marina members. Success in this role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and delivering top-tier customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Member and Customer Support

Serve as a primary point of contact for marina members, answering questions and resolving requests
Respond to inquiries from prospective members
Create annual member contracts and track responses

Office and Financial Operations

Order office supplies following proper purchasing procedures
Make bank deposits and send wire transfers
Manage petty cash
Maintain and review daily gas sales transactions
Work closely with the marina bookkeeper on day to day financial tasks

Human Resources Support

Assist with onboarding seasonal staff, including distributing employee handbooks and new hire paperwork
Track and monitor employee time off requests
Maintain personnel records, including employee personal files, workers compensation insurance and safety records, and unemployment benefit claims

Operations and Compliance

Maintain and update standard operating procedures
Complete required regulatory filings and permit renewals
Support the Boat Sales Manager as needed
Assist with special projects across the marina
Provide general support to the General Manager and Operations Manager as needed

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Comfortable working in a team environment and adapting to shifting priorities
Prior office management, administrative, or bookkeeping experience preferred
Proficiency with Quickbooks preferred
A friendly, professional demeanor when working with members and staff
