BENEFITS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Pay: $22.00/hour
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Temporary Assignment: July 6, 2026 – September 30, 2026
Candidates must be available to complete the full assignment

ROLE IMPACT

Join a respected municipal Human Resources team supporting employee benefits programs for a large workforce. This role is ideal for an administrative professional with employee benefits experience who enjoys helping employees navigate their benefit options and ensuring accurate enrollment and benefits administration. Success in this position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism.

Assist employees with benefit enrollments, changes, and benefit-related questions
Explain health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, and other employee benefit programs
Process new hire enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and terminations within benefits systems
Support open enrollment activities, communications, and distribution of materials
Serve as a liaison between employees, HR, payroll, and benefits vendors
Research and resolve benefit-related issues and discrepancies
Audit benefits data for accuracy and compliance
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other documentation
Assist with benefits billing, invoice reconciliation, and administrative support activities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of employee benefits administration experience required
Strong working knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans
