Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our CNC router as well as be proficient in AutoCad. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and precision measurement to ensure high-quality production. Experience with AutoCad and CNC milling equipment is highly desirable. The CNC Operator will play a critical role in fabricating components with precision and efficiency for production for day to day operations.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC router to produce parts according to specifications.
Program CNC equipment using AutoCad software to ensure accurate machining processes.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and troubleshoot issues.
Handle sheet materials manually as well as assisted with a forklift.
Ensure safety protocols are followed in the manufacturing facility during all operations.
Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and quality control checks.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar machinery in a manufacturing setting.
Proficiency with AutoCAD software.
Beneficial to have mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes including welding, tooling, stamping presses, press brake machines, and fabrications tools.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools.
Familiarity with factory safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machining tolerances and dimensions.
Warehouse experience or materials handling skills are a plus.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities in machining operations.
