About the Role

We’re seeking a Field Project Manager who combines decisive leadership with calm, steady control — someone who takes ownership, solves problems early, and keeps projects running smoothly from start to finish.

This is a role for a high-accountability professional who can balance speed and structure — a person who doesn’t wait for direction, but confidently takes charge while maintaining professionalism and empathy. You’ll be coordinating multiple crews, managing schedules and materials, and ensuring homeowners have a five-star experience at every stage.

The ideal candidate is proactive, assertive, and organized, with a growth mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with customers, installers, and internal teams. You’ll protect the company’s standards and reputation — while also standing up for the customer and ensuring they feel informed, respected, and confident in our work.

What You’ll Do

Project Management & Leadership

Take ownership of assigned exterior renovation projects from pre-construction to closeout.
Conduct pre-construction walkthroughs with homeowners and sales staff to confirm details, answer questions, and set expectations.
Create and manage detailed work orders, schedules, and material lists.
Coordinate multiple subcontractor crews and ancillary trades (paint, gutters, trim, etc.) — ensuring the right people and materials are in place at the right time.
Proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate — acting quickly and decisively to keep projects on track.
Conduct site visits and unannounced quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards.
Set clear expectations with crews, reinforcing safety, cleanliness, and quality craftsmanship.
Meet crews on-site at project start and completion, reviewing scope, materials, and next steps.
Perform final walkthroughs with homeowners and ensure every punch list item is resolved promptly.

Customer Communication

Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners during the production phase.
Communicate proactively and professionally — by phone, email, and on-site — keeping homeowners updated on progress and timelines.
Represent the company with calm confidence, even when challenges arise.
Address customer concerns directly and respectfully while balancing company interests.
Follow through on every promise — ensuring a smooth, transparent, and satisfying experience.

Operational Excellence

Maintain accurate notes, photos, and documentation in the CRM system.
Collaborate closely with the Production and Operations teams to ensure accurate scheduling and material orders.
Ensure all projects are completed on budget, within scope, and on schedule.
Manage material returns and warranty service requests efficiently.
Continuously improve systems and processes to support growth and scalability.

Qualifications

4+ years of project management or installer experience in residential construction or home improvement.
Strong knowledge of exterior trades (windows, siding, doors).
Proven ability to manage multiple crews, schedules, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Comfortable addressing issues head-on and holding teams accountable.
Tech-savvy with CRM and project management tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Experience with James Hardie siding preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided).

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $70,000–$90,000/year (DOE) + performance bonuses
