Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher and become a vital part of creating exceptional dining experiences! This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to support kitchen operations through efficient cleaning, food safety practices, and kitchen maintenance. As a Dishwasher, you'll ensure our kitchen remains spotless, organized, and compliant with health standards, enabling our chefs to deliver top-quality dishes with confidence. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help foster a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support the culinary team as needed
Buse tables and clear plates to maintain a clean dining area during service
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, sinks, and manual handling tools
Support sanitation efforts by maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, prep areas, and storage spaces in accordance with health standards
Handle heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and dishware while adhering to proper manual handling techniques
Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and food safety management practices
Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items regularly
Basic knife skills and familiarity with food preparation processes are a plus
Experience in catering or culinary roles demonstrating attention to detail in food safety and cleanliness
Knowledge of hospitality standards and commitment to maintaining high kitchen health standards
