Full Job Description

Job Summary:

The Accounting Generalist will perform routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for accounting data including accounts payable, billing, and receivables.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable.

· Preparing daily cash deposits.

· Billing customers, processing customers’ payments.

· Process invoices and statements, prepare check requests and payments for vendors.

· Answering telephones, and other clerical tasks as needed.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into computer software and systems.

· Solid understanding of accounting math.

· Manage time properly and are organized.

· Good verbal communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma required.

· Coursework in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred.

· 2 years of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience required.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
