Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the organization's overall financial operations.

Duties

Perform daily accounting tasks, including data entry and bank deposits.
Accounts Receivable, including posting payments, collections, and processing credit applications.
Accounts payable, including posting invoices and reconciling statements.
Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
Manage journal entries and maintain meticulous records of debits and credits for accurate bookkeeping.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting and audits.

Experience

Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting environments is preferred.
Strong math skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations and data analysis.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for effective account reconciliation and bookkeeping tasks.
