Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager who shares those values and is ready to become an essential part of our New Britain team.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, can manage multiple priorities with ease, and genuinely cares about helping others.

What You'll Do

As our Office Manager, you will be the organizational hub of our New Britain location, ensuring every detail is handled with accuracy, compassion, and professionalism.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinate and oversee all administrative paperwork from start to finish.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple services simultaneously.
Serve as the primary paperwork coordinator for the office.
Anticipate challenges and proactively solve problems before they impact operations.
Work independently while prioritizing daily responsibilities.
Coordinate office workflow to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Communicate professionally with families, clergy, cemeteries, vendors, and staff.
Maintain confidential records with the highest level of discretion.
Assist with scheduling, service preparation, and administrative support.
Ensure compliance with funeral home policies and regulatory requirements.
Support leadership with special projects and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

Previous office management or administrative leadership experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience coordinating detailed paperwork and office processes.
Ability to work with empathy while maintaining professionalism.
Experience in healthcare, legal, funeral service, hospitality, or another detail-oriented profession is a plus.
