HR & COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR — GO FLOORING

High-Growth Company | Competitive Pay | Opportunity to Grow

Go Flooring is looking for a driven, highly organized HR & Compliance Coordinator to join our corporate team.

We are a rapidly growing flooring company operating across multiple states and markets, and our corporate infrastructure is growing along with us.

This is a hands-on role for someone who likes working at a fast pace, taking ownership, keeping a lot of moving pieces organized, and making sure important details don’t fall through the cracks.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Recruiting, Hiring & Employee Administration

· Coordinate recruiting activities and candidate communication.

· Schedule interviews and help move candidates efficiently through the hiring process.

· Coordinate new-hire onboarding from offer through Day 1.

· Prepare, distribute, and track onboarding documents, acknowledgments, and employee forms.

· Maintain accurate and organized employee files and records.

· Coordinate employee status changes, terminations, and related system updates.

· Prepare and track coaching, disciplinary, and other employee documentation at management’s direction.

· Assist employees and managers with routine HR questions and administrative needs.

· Coordinate employee benefits enrollments and status changes.

Contractor Onboarding & Compliance

· Own the onboarding process for 1099 subcontractors.

· Ensure required contractor documentation is complete and current.

· Track contractor insurance requirements and expiration dates.

· Follow up proactively on missing or expiring documentation.

· Maintain accurate contractor records and system access.

· Conduct periodic compliance audits and resolve outstanding documentation issues.

Licensing & Compliance

· Maintain company licensing and compliance calendars.

· Track General Contractor licenses and renewal deadlines.

· Coordinate license renewals and required documentation.

· Track and coordinate required continuing education.

· Maintain organized licensing and compliance records.

· Stay ahead of expiration dates, renewals, and other compliance deadlines.

Systems & Access Administration

· Coordinate employee and contractor access across company systems, including Monday.com, Slack, and other platforms.

· Create and maintain approved user accounts.

· Audit system access when employees or contractors join, change roles, or leave the company.

· Coordinate equipment assignments and returns.

· Identify access or documentation issues and follow through until they are resolved.

Fleet Administration

· Help manage and track the company’s vehicle fleet.

· Monitor vehicle mileage, usage, speeding, and after-hours activity.

· Coordinate maintenance, repairs, tires, and preventative service.

· Track driver’s licenses, insurance, registrations, and plate renewals.

· Coordinate monthly vehicle inspections and maintain related documentation.

· Follow up with drivers and service providers on outstanding vehicle issues.

· Notices when something doesn’t look right and takes initiative to get it corrected.

· Is willing to help solve problems outside of a narrowly defined checklist when the business needs it.

· Wants an opportunity to grow along with the company.

EXPERIENCE

· 2+ years of experience in HR, employee administration, compliance, or a related role preferred.

· Experience with employee onboarding and HR documentation strongly preferred.

· Experience supporting a multi-state employer is a plus.

· Experience with HR systems, Monday.com, contractor compliance, licensing, construction/home improvement, or fleet administration is a plus.

· Strong Microsoft Office skills and comfort learning new technology are important.
