Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming materials into precise, high-quality components and assemblies. Your expertise in various welding techniques, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes will be essential to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within quality expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship and safety are top priorities.

Duties

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
Operate a variety of power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and pipe threading tools to shape and assemble metal components.
Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding techniques to join sheet metal, ductwork, and other materials according to ASME codes & standards.
Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
Fabricate components for construction projects including ductwork, piping systems, or structural assemblies while adhering to safety protocols.
Conduct rigging, assembly, and installation of fabricated parts on-site or in the workshop environment.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety regulations related to construction site experience, crane operation, forklift handling, and mechanical knowledge.

Skills

Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate fabrication.
Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques, and <LOCATION> welding with a focus on quality welds that meet industry standards.
Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, pipe threading, soldering, and machining processes.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, forklifts, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
Knowledge of construction site procedures including crane operation and ductwork installation.
Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
Familiarity with ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication practices in manufacturing environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and interpret technical instructions accurately.
