Full Job Description

Sage Expense Management is a leading provider of innovative expense tracking software designed for small to mid-sized businesses across the globe. Our platform simplifies financial processes, from real-time receipt submission to seamless accounting software integration. We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Remote Proofreader to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in upholding our brand's quality and professionalism by ensuring all our written content is flawless, clear, and engaging. This is a Full-Time, fully remote position.

This role offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $52,000 USD per annum, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Meticulously proofread and edit a variety of content, including marketing materials, website copy, blog posts, user guides, and internal communications for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
Ensure all content is consistent with Sage Expense Management's brand voice, tone, and style guidelines.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to review and refine content, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity.
Fact-check claims and data to maintain the integrity and credibility of our communications.
Improve the overall readability and flow of documents to enhance the user experience.
Assist in the development and maintenance of our company style guide to ensure consistency across all publications.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Proven professional experience as a Proofreader, Copy Editor, or in a similar role.
An exceptional command of the English language, with an expert understanding of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
An outstanding eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
A self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Proficiency with standard office and content editing software.
Experience in the B2B, SaaS, or financial technology sector is highly desirable but not essential.
