Full Job Description

Real Estate Investment / Development Company seeking Senior Accountant / Financial Manager to oversee company. Candidate would work closely with Office Manager, Bookkeeper and company CEO. Our main office is in Chico and a satellite office in Napa.

Ideal candidate could have experience in real estate development from a variety of real estate disciplines (construction, architecture, engineering, legal, property management and accounting).

Candidate should be a self-starter who is able to evaluate and make decisions with recommendations and take action to completion. He or she should have good experience in real estate development, and good people skills. Must have understanding of financial and administrative aspects of a real estate development / investment company. The list below is a partial list of what this position requires (FT, PT or Independent Con.)

1099 & 1096 Filings.
CTA Compliance Filings.
Insurance Policies. GL, Umbrella, Building, CAM, Land, Earthquake and understanding policies.
Tax Preparation – In addition to 1099 filings. Review of Trial Balances to ensure account accuracy.
Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts per LLC
Reconciliation of Loans and credit cards
Billback of expenses to LLC
Review of Trial Balance to ensure account accuracy and how to adjust
Preparation of documentation necessary for loans
Review of loan documentation at LOI and after
Create and/or update of PFS
Work with Title and/or Escrow at closings
Proper posting of Settlement Statements
Creation and logging of Notes between entities
Understanding of Property Management books vs Development books
CAM reconciliation for Property Managements
Understanding of LLC Tax Returns to be able to quickly answer questions of CPA, IRS, and lenders.
Detailed Project Proforma creation and explanation
Budget creation for each LLC
Itemize opportunities for time and cost savings for LLC’s
Proficient in QuickBooks
Proficient in Excel
Proficient in Microsoft Word
Outlook
Dropbox

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
