Full Job Description

Location: City of Industry, California

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

The Tint & Wrap Print Shop is seeking an experienced Print Production Specialist to manage

high-volume printing of banners, decals, stickers, and other large-format products.

This is not an entry-level position. The successful candidate must have practical experience

operating commercial printing equipment, preparing production-ready artwork, managing print queues, and running multiple jobs efficiently at the same time.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and adjust customer artwork for print production.
Operate HP Latex 800 and HP Latex 570 printers.
Set up, queue, RIP, monitor, and complete multiple print jobs simultaneously.
Produce banners, decals, stickers, and related printed products at high volume.
Use ONYX and SAi FlexiPRINT to manage print files, colour settings, nesting, sizing, and production queues.
Inspect printed products for colour accuracy, sizing, alignment, defects, and overall quality.
Organize jobs according to production deadlines and customer priorities.
Troubleshoot common printer, software, file, and print-quality issues.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area.
Perform routine printer cleaning and basic equipment maintenance.
Accurately track job status, materials used, reprints, and completed orders.

Required Experience and Skills

Minimum one year of professional print-production experience.
Demonstrated experience producing banners, decals, and stickers in a high-volume environment.
Strong working knowledge of:

o Adobe Illustrator

o Adobe Photoshop

o ONYX RIP software

o SAi FlexiPRINT

o HP Latex 800

o HP Latex 570

Ability to independently manage several active print jobs without losing track of files, materials, deadlines, or quality requirements.
Strong understanding of print dimensions, resolution, bleed, cut lines, colour profiles, scaling, and production-ready file preparation.
Ability to identify and correct artwork or production issues before printing.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a commercial sign, wrap, graphics, or large-format print shop.
Experience troubleshooting HP Latex printers and RIP software.
Familiarity with material selection, media loading, job nesting, waste reduction, and production scheduling.
Experience completing urgent and high-volume orders while maintaining consistent quality.

Important

Applicants must have actual hands-on experience operating commercial printers and managing multiple production jobs. General graphic-design experience without print-production experience will not meet the requirements of this position.

Selected candidates may be asked to complete a practical skills assessment involving file preparation, RIP software, printer setup, job queuing, and print-quality review.
