Full Job Description

Hallmark Homecare of South Lake County is a professional caregiver direct-hire agency operating a Homemaker & Companion and Nurse Registries. We place only the most reliable, skilled, and compassionate caregivers to serve private‑pay clients who expect the highest standard of at‑home care.

Filling an Immediate Need

Existing client requires care from 9AM to 11AM or 12PM (3 hours), 2 or 3 days a week. Must know how to play tennis or pickleball. This is an introductory opportunity with potential for more engagement.
Must live in Clermont.
Must be experienced in engaging seniors with Alzheimer's.

For Consideration, Caregivers Must:

Treat seniors with unconditional empathy, dignity, and respect.
Have 3+ years of professional caregiving experience with seniors; dementia/Alzheimer’s and prior rehab or post-acute care experience preferred.
Be an HHA or CNA.
Provide current CPR, First Aid, HIV, Alzheimer’s/Dementia training and communicable‑disease clearance.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently, communicate proactively, and follow care plans.
Be highly reliable and punctual — no‑shows and lack of communication are not tolerated in our registry.
Pass AHCA’s Level 2 federal background check.
Provide 3 professional references to verify experience and reliability.
Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
Must live in or near South Lake County — not for remote/telehealth or moving into the area in the future
Be comfortable using mobile apps for onboarding, scheduling, and billing.

Homemaker & Companion Registry Responsibilities (Non‑medical, no hands‑on care, CNA/HHA license highly preferred)

Must know how to play tennis or pickleball.
Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
Assist with non‑medical, non‑hands‑on tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and home organization.
Offer medication reminders (no administration).
Provide transportation for errands, shopping, and appointments (mileage reimbursed if using personal vehicle).
Support safe routines such as walks, social activities, and engagement.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
Observe and report changes in client condition to the family or registry.
Demonstrate patience and empathy, especially when supporting clients with dementia or cognitive decline.

Interview Process

30-minute Virtual Professional Interview (dress code is business casual or scrubs).
Failure to attend on time for both calls w/o communication will result in dismissal from our registries.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
