Full Job Description

About the Role

We’re a growing national car wash and lube service provider looking for a driven Market Manager to lead operations across multiple locations. In this role, you’ll own the full P&L for your market, develop high-performing teams, and deliver the kind of customer experience that keeps people coming back. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and have a passion for operational excellence, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Customer Experience

· Champion a customer-first culture — set the standard and hold your team to it.

· Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.

· Ensure every location consistently delivers on our service promise.

Team Leadership

· Hire, train, and develop store managers and frontline staff across your market.

· Optimize scheduling and labor based on volume and business needs.

· Maintain strong staffing levels while reducing turnover.

· Lead regular team meetings to align on goals, updates, and expectations.

· Build a positive, professional, and compliant work culture.

Operations

· Oversee daily operations across all locations to ensure compliance with company and safety standards.

· Respond quickly to equipment or system issues to minimize downtime.

· Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and cost controls (chemicals, utilities, labor).

· Review timecards daily to ensure payroll accuracy.

· Maintain accurate records including safety logs, inventory, and incident reports.

· Minimize preventable losses from theft, vehicle damage, or process gaps.

Financial & Administrative

· Own your market’s P&L — hit and exceed profitability targets.

· Review and manage budgets with a disciplined eye on cost.

· Analyze operational data to spot improvement opportunities and act on them.

· Ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time per company policies.

What We’re Looking For

· Proven experience managing multiple retail or service locations.

· Experience in automotive services preferred — particularly carwash and/or lube operations.

· Comfortable managing high-volume environments with 50–100 transactions per hour.

· Strong P&L management, budgeting, and cost-control skills.

· Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.

· Data-driven decision maker who can translate numbers into action.

· Excellent communication skills — able to motivate teams and engage customers alike.

· Willingness to travel between locations as needed.

Work Environment

This is an active, outdoor role. You’ll work in all weather conditions, navigate areas with moving vehicles, and regularly perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and stooping. Protective gear (goggles, gloves, bump cap, etc.) is required per safety guidelines.
