Facilities Maintenance Technician

Mohun Health Care Center, a faith-based, long-term care community is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents.

This role is more than repairing buildings and equipment—it is about caring for the environment where our residents live. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, treats others with kindness and respect, and understands that even the smallest repair can make a meaningful impact on someone’s day.

What You’ll Do

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support the daily care and upkeep of our campus by:

Completing maintenance requests and repairs throughout the facility.
Performing general building maintenance, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, basic electrical, HVAC support, and equipment repairs.
Completing preventive maintenance to keep systems operating safely and reliably.
Helping maintain resident rooms, common spaces, equipment, and grounds.
Supporting fire safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental safety programs.
Identifying and correcting potential safety concerns.
Providing friendly and respectful service to residents, staff, families, and visitors.
Rotating on-call.

What You Bring

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of building maintenance experience in a commercial environment such as healthcare, senior living, apartments, office buildings, or similar settings.
General knowledge of repairs, tools, equipment, preventive maintenance, and facility upkeep.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to be part of a mission-driven team.

Experience in a skilled nursing facility, senior living community, or healthcare setting is helpful, but we are most interested in finding someone with the right skills, attitude, and heart for service.
