This role is for experienced carpenters who take pride in precision and craftsmanship.
Our work is high-end, detail-driven residential construction, where quality, accuracy, and accountability matter. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working to very high standards, understands the expectations of custom residential projects, and takes ownership of their work from start to finish.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Execute advanced rough and finish carpentry with exceptional precision and independence.
Read and interpret complex blueprints, architectural plans, and shop drawings.
Solve advanced field challenges while proactively recommending solutions.
Lead high-end finish work, custom details, cabinetry installation, and built-ins.
Coordinate with the Carpentry Manager and other trades on complex project scopes.
Mentor Apprentice and Journeyman Carpenters while helping elevate the overall skill of the team.
Maintain BSD's high standards for craftsmanship, safety, and jobsite organization.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS

10+ years of professional carpentry experience, preferably in high-end residential construction.
Demonstrated mastery of framing, finish carpentry, exterior systems, cabinetry installation, and custom detailing.
Proven ability to independently execute complex projects with minimal supervision.
Strong blueprint and shop drawing interpretation skills.
Experience mentoring or training other carpenters.
Owns and maintains a complete set of carpentry tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Must pass a background check.
Formal training or certification in carpentry or a related trade is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

We believe in rewarding hard work and dedication. The hourly wage for this role is $31-37 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
