CVICU Registered Nurse – Columbus, OH

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
Hours/Week: 36 hours
Employment Type: Contract
License/Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; EPIC experience preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred; previous travel ICU experience a plus

Pay Rate: $59.18/hour

What You’ll Do

Provide high-acuity patient care in the CVICU, including cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and hemodynamic support
Start IVs, operate telemetry and ventilator equipment, manage Swan-Ganz catheters and balloon pumps
Administer conscious sedation and manage PA lines
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC electronic health records
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control

What You Need

Valid Ohio RN license (or ability to obtain)
BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, specifically in cardiac or CVICU units
Expertise with IV starts, telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, PA lines, and EPIC
Previous travel ICU experience is preferred
Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills
