Tax Manager | Columbus, Ohio | Hybrid

You don't often come across a small firm that's turning work away.

Not because business has slowed down, but because they've got more clients than they have experienced people to look after them.

That's where this opportunity comes in.

This Columbus firm has been around for over 80 years. They've built a loyal client base, mostly across real estate, construction and family offices, and for a smaller team, the clients are much larger than you'd expect.

They're now looking for an experienced tax professional who can step into the team and make an impact from day one.

What makes it worth a look?

It's a small office, so you'll never feel like just another name on an org chart.

You'll work directly with clients, prepare and review tax work, and have the backing of a team that's been together for years.

The firm mainly focuses on tax, with some compilation and review work, so they're looking for someone who has a solid grounding in public accounting rather than someone who's only ever specialised in one area.

One of the senior partners is also nearing retirement, which naturally creates opportunity for someone who wants to take on more responsibility over time. Equally, if you're simply looking for a good firm where you can do good work without worrying about climbing the ladder, that's absolutely fine too.
