HOME HEALTH AIDE/PERSONAL CARE GIVER

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated STNA Home Health Aides to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Requirements:
- STNA license or 1 year verifiable experience as a personal care giver
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and medical terminology
- Familiarity with medical documentation and record keeping
- Ability to assist with tube feeding and medication administration
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physical ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Compassionate nature and ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families

7. Do you have an STNA license? If not, do you have at least one year of verifiable experience as a caregiver from a previous employer?
8. Please provide your current residential ZIP code to help us determine your proximity to the case assignment and to assist in matching you with other potential clients.
This position requires a reliable staff member five days a week. Would you describe yourself as a reliable person who can consistently provide personal care services for a client depending on your support for some activities of living?
10. Pets: Are you comfortable working in a client’s home that has pets, such as dogs or cats? This client has cats. Are you okay with working in an environment with a cat?
3. Work Days: This position requires staffing for the following five days each week — Monday-Friday for 5 hours daily (8:30 am to 1:30pm.). If hired, can you reliably commit to this schedule?
