DENTAL OFFICE MANAGER – FULL TIME (IN-OFFICE)

Huntington, NY

DENTAL EXPERIENCE ONLY!!!

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy dental practice in Huntington, NY. This is a full-time, in-office position. The ideal candidate must have prior dental office experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The Dental Office Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient day-to-day operations of the practice, including administrative oversight, team coordination, and patient experience. This role works closely with the dentist to maintain high standards of care and operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee daily dental office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, phone management, and treatment coordination
Handle patient communication, financial discussions, and treatment coordination support
Process patient payments and manage billing responsibilities
Order, track, and maintain dental supplies and equipment
Hire, train, and supervise dental administrative and clinical staff
Manage office budget, collections, and overall financial operations
Develop and enforce office policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with all dental regulations and office standards
Provide exceptional customer service and patient support

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a fast-paced dental office REQUIRED
Strong preference for candidates with PPO insurance and billing experience
Experience with Open Dental (preferred) or similar dental software
Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills
Excellent communication and patient service skills
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
