Full Job Description

Experienced Office Manager – Electrical Contractor

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Office Manager to join our electrical contracting team. The ideal candidate has experience working in the electrical, construction, HVAC, plumbing, or other skilled-trade industries and understands the fast-paced demands of managing an office and supporting field operations.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can keep the office running smoothly, stay on top of paperwork and scheduling, communicate professionally with customers and employees, and help management and staff keep projects and day-to-day operations organized.

Responsibilities

· Manage daily office operations and administrative functions

· Answer phones, respond to emails, and communicate with customers

· Support accounts receivable and accounts payable departments

· Assist with payroll, employee records, and time tracking

· Order office and job-related supplies as needed

· Help management monitor job progress and administrative deadlines

· Handle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

Qualifications

· 3+ years of office management or administrative experience required

· Experience in an electrical contracting or construction-related business strongly preferred

· Strong organizational and time-management skills

· Excellent communication and customer-service skills

· Comfortable working with computers, email, Microsoft Office, and scheduling/invoicing software

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

· Professional, dependable, and able to handle a busy environment
