Job Description: Part-Time Bookkeeper

Position Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper
Employment Type: Part-Time
Reports To: Owners/Managers

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial records of our business. The ideal candidate will have experience with bookkeeping, accounting software, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and deposits.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Maintain the general ledger and financial records.
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting.
Assist with tax preparation by organizing financial documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
Customer order entry and comfirmation.

Qualifications

Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Schedule

Part-time, approximately 15–25 hours per week (5 days, Monday-Friday).
