Regional Clinical Development & Support RN

Location: Regional / Multi‑site in MN and WI, travel 90% with a provided work car
Position Type: Full‑Time

Ready to elevate nursing leadership across multiple communities? Join us as our Regional Clinical Development RN.

The Regional Clinical Development & Support RN is responsible for executing organizational policies, standards of nursing practice, and the initial and ongoing development of nurse leaders across assigned communities. This role provides clinical education, workflow optimization, and onsite RN or interim support as needed. The position works in close partnership with the Regional Director of Clinical Quality to ensure policies and procedures align with community needs while maintaining exceptional standards of care.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Education & Development of RN Leaders

Develop and maintain annual education calendars to support consistent systemwide learning.
Create microlearning or refresher materials to address recurring knowledge gaps.
Provide comprehensive orientation and ongoing education for RNs and CNS staff.
Build foundational competencies in nursing practice, clinical processes, systems, and customer service.

Clinical Systems & Workflow Optimization

Support standardization of clinical workflows in new or acquired communities.
Assess workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Assist with establishing consistent routines, including shift structure, communication flow, medication administration, and assessment processes.

Leadership & Onsite Support

Provide onsite support to at‑risk or underperforming communities to stabilize clinical operations.
Develop action plans addressing acute staffing, training, or workflow challenges.
Directly assist with assessments, care planning, and care coordination during crisis periods.
Collaborate with HR and Operations when turnover, performance, or culture concerns arise.

Management: Effectively sets expectations, coaches teams, and holds individuals accountable.
Emotional Intelligence: Strong self-awareness, relationship skills, and understanding of team dynamics.
Detail Orientation: Consistent focus on priorities and accuracy that drive operational success.
Independence: Self‑starter who works proactively with minimal direction.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

Licensure: Active RN license in applicable state(s)

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of nursing leadership experience.
Experience in assisted living, senior housing, long‑term care, or related settings preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of state and federal clinical regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to creatively solve problems and adapt to rapidly changing needs.
