Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
(RN) Registered Nurse licensed in the state of TX or compact license
Bachelors Degree required, MSN preferred
1+ year of experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation preferred. Will take Med Surg, PCU, Surgical Ortho or other acute areas of experience.
1+ leadership experienced required
Advanced nurse certification preferred
Strong accountability to the unit, patients and yourself.
Ability to be respectful of your team, patients, families and our organization
Strong time management abilities
Strong communication- willing to have the difficult conversations
Ability to cultivate a strong team and get buy in from staff on the HCA way and ability to explain the why behind decisions
Must have a strong presence within the unit
Must be flexible with changes and have the ability to pivot when needed
Looking for someone who is driven, coachable, and has a team oriented approach
