Full Job Description

AUTOMOTIVE BILLING CLERK

Volkswagen of Corpus Christi is hiring an experienced Automotive
Billing Clerk to review, bill, and post vehicle deals accurately and
on time. This dealership accounting position is responsible for
deal-jacket compliance, CDK entry, Red Flags and OFAC checks, warranty
cancellations, remittances, and account reconciliation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Review automotive deal jackets for complete, accurate, and properly
signed documents
Bill and post retail, lease, wholesale, and dealer-trade transactions in CDK
Complete and document Red Flags and OFAC compliance checks
Verify vehicle costs, taxes, fees, incentives, funding information, and lien payoffs
Post transactions to the correct general ledger accounts
Work with Sales, Finance, and Accounting to resolve deals
Issue lien-payoff checks and receipt customer funds
Process warranty, GAP, service contract, maintenance, and
Prepare warranty remittances and reconcile cancellation statements
Reconcile accounting schedules and resolve outstanding or aging balances
Assist with deposits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and
Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready automotive deal filesQUALIFICATIONS
Automotive dealership billing or accounting experience strongly preferred
Experience with CDK or another dealership management system
Knowledge of automotive deal billing and dealership accounting procedures
Understanding of debits, credits, general ledger accounts,
schedules, and reconciliations
Experience with deal jackets, lien payoffs, Red Flags, OFAC,
Warranty cancellations, or remittances preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong math, organization, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
High school diploma or GED required; accounting or business education preferredinformation

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$15–$18 per hour, based on experience
