We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cook to join our team at a brand new assisted living facility in Coshocton!

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and food safety, with a passion for creating wholesome and appealing meals. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive high-quality, well-balanced diets while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Cook - Assisted Living Facility Coshocton - Full Time ( 6:00 am - 2:30 pm ) Job Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, dietary guidelines, and resident preferences.
Assist with menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional value, and compliance with dietary restrictions.
Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
Support the dietary department in meal service, including plating and serving food to residents with care and professionalism.
Manage food inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs.
Follow all health department regulations and facility policies related to food safety and cleanliness.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and efficient kitchen operations.
Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and respect for residents’ needs.

Cook - Assisted Living Facility Coshocton - Full Time ( 6:00 am - 2:30 pm ) Job Qualifications

Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide within healthcare or assisted living settings is preferred.
Demonstrated culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques are essential.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience within the food industry will be considered an asset.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a respectful attitude toward residents and team members.
