<Overview>
Join our dynamic team as a LIHTC Property Manager, where you will lead the management of affordable housing communities financed through Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). Your energetic approach will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while delivering exceptional service to residents. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by overseeing property operations, fostering positive resident relationships, and maintaining the highest standards of property management excellence. <Responsibilities>

Manage day-to-day operations of LIHTC properties, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations including Fair Housing and Section 8 guidelines.
Oversee leasing activities, including property tours, tenant screening, and lease negotiations to maximize occupancy and resident satisfaction.
Maintain accurate data entry within AppFolio and Preferred Compliance ensuring all records are current and compliant.
Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management, including scheduling repairs, conducting inspections, and overseeing vendor relationships to uphold property standards.
Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, lease contracts, and eviction procedures with transparency and professionalism.
Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette, conflict management, and proactive communication with residents and stakeholders.
Conduct regular audits of property files, filing systems, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) records to ensure organizational efficiency.

<Requirements>

Proven experience in property management with a focus on LIHTC or affordable housing programs.
Strong familiarity with AppFolio and Preferred Compliance, or similar management software.
Knowledge of LIHTC regulations, Section 8 housing programs, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law.
Legal administrative experience related to contracts, leases, evictions, and compliance documentation.
Excellent customer service skills combined with effective negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and general administrative tasks.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
