Job Summary
Join our team as a Front of House Team Member and become the welcoming face of our family-owned, scratch-made Italian restaurant. In this energetic role, you will create great guest experiences through exceptional customer service, efficient food and beverage handling, and working efficiently with the kitchen staff. Your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will help create an inviting and comfortable atmosphere where guests feel valued and eager to return. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality expertise in a fast-paced, casual dining environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly guest relations to ensure a positive first impression
Manage dine-in guests by coordinating seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
Take orders accurately in-person and via phone using Clover POS system
Cut and package desserts for display and sale.
Package and serve food efficiently, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and ensuring sanitation standards are consistently met
Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for billing purposes
Support kitchen staff with food preparation or tasks as needed, demonstrating versatility in food service operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant service, host/hostess roles, or food industry positions is highly preferred
Familiarity and experience with POS systems is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling; attention to detail is essential for accuracy
