Full Job Description

Summary

Heuberger Motors is seeking an Accounting Clerk / Title Clerk to join our Accounting Department. This position is a great fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers and paperwork, and able to manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day.

The primary focus of this position will be assisting with dealership accounting functions while also providing support with vehicle title and registration processing.

What You'll Do

Balance and process daily deposits
Assist with accounting schedules, reconciliations, and general accounting support
Process warranty payments, cancellations, and related paperwork
Post daily Service Department rental charges
Scan and maintain accounting, vehicle deal, and title records
Assist with processing in-state and out-of-state vehicle titles and registrations
Track outstanding title work and help resolve missing or rejected paperwork
Communicate with customers, Finance, Sales, DMVs, and other agencies regarding title and registration questions
Assist with dealer plates, company vehicle registrations, courtesy deliveries, and other title-related transactions
Order and maintain dealership office supplies as needed
Perform additional Accounting Department duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working with numbers, documents, and computer-based systems
Professional communication and customer service skills
Previous dealership accounting, title, administrative, or automotive experience is preferred but not required

We are looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and interested in becoming an important part of our Accounting Department.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
