Full Job Description

Job Summary

Fears Dudley Injury Law is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bilingual Litigation Legal Assistant to support our personal injury litigation team.

This role works closely with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and lienholders throughout the settlement and disbursement process. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

Handle calls and follow-ups in English and Spanish with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties.
Keep clients informed throughout the settlement process.
Coordinate with attorneys on settlement structure, approval, and disbursement.
Communicate with insurance adjusters to obtain settlement payments.
Identify and resolve subrogation interests, medical liens, and outstanding provider balances.
Negotiate reductions with medical providers, hospitals, and lienholders when applicable.
Review medical bills, lien statements, payoff amounts, and health insurance information.
Prepare settlement statements, disbursement documents, and closing paperwork.
Track outstanding requirements and maintain accurate case notes.
Support attorneys and team members with litigation and settlement-related tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
Personal injury, claims, settlement, or lien-resolution experience required.
Litigation support experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical billing, health insurance, subrogation, liens, and settlement disbursements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and responsible.
Comfortable communicating with clients, attorneys, adjusters, and medical providers.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional in appearance and behavior.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software.
