Are you ready to get to work in the new year? Want to be a game changer, a difference maker, a world changer? Changing lives one child at a time. That’s our mission. We work with at-risk kids in the West Dallas and Grand Prairie communities. We are looking for energetic enthusiastic individuals to join us as Afterschool Teachers & Tutors. The Afterschool Teacher/Tutor works with individuals and small groups of Pre-K – 12th grade students under the supervision of the Program Manager. provide supervision and instruction to students creating a positive and fun learning environment that encourages students’ personal, social, and academic development. Will also be responsible for conducting Bible study with program participants. Looking for creative, enthusiastic team players with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth in a group setting, work or volunteer. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Minimum requirement: High school diploma or GED AA degree preferred and/or two year’s work experience with children. We are a non-profit evangelical Christian ministry and screen applicants on that basis. Background check and reference checks required. ASPIRE After-school program hours approximately 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. In the summer, hours will vary. Follows Uplift Education school schedule. All shifts Monday through Friday. We offer regular hours with no required nights or weekends.

Pay starts at $10-18 an hour depending on education and experience, with opportunities to advance in pay and responsibility.'
