Full Job Description

Our Substance Abuse and Alcohol treatment facility is part of a rapidly growing company with potential room for advancement. We provide substance abuse treatment services for adults. Our focus is on improving health outcomes for our clients with compassion and without judgement.

Current positions available for Full-Time and Part-Time work 20 hours a week.

The Recovery Coach works as part of a multi-disciplinary team and ensures the coordination of substance abuse treatment services with medical and mental health care for clients. The Recovery Coach is responsible for working closely with the medical providers and facility staff to proactively manage client care. This position requires strong personalities, excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The position is responsible for the following:

Ensuring facility policies and procedures are followed for the duration of client treatment
Participating in the daily schedule which includes but not limited to staffing, client group sessions, physical activities, and curfew.
Maintaining accurate documentation of clients on a daily basis.
Coordinates the care services to clients, in collaboration with clinical and other staff to address the client’s needs.
Identifies barriers to health and wellness.
Maintains regular contact with treatment staff to inform and be informed of client’s progress and makes recommendations for continuing care.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following Qualifications/Competencies/Education/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to participate as an effective and efficient team member

Ability to communicate clearly.
Ability to interact with clients in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner without judgement.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service to individuals from various cultural backgrounds.
Ability to handle situational stress in work environment.
Ability to multi-task.

High School Diploma or GED required. Degree in social work preferred.
