Full Job Description

Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing) – Northeast Iowa

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment located in Northeast Iowa.

This role is responsible for planning, procurement, inventory control, and logistics, ensuring operational efficiency and supporting production goals. You will play a key role in optimizing inventory, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement across the operation.Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand
Monitor forecasts and supply chain metrics to identify risks and opportunities
Achieve monthly inventory targets across raw materials (RAW), work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods (FG)
Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts and accuracy reporting
Track and report key operational KPIs such as shipments, production output, and scrap
Manage shipping, receiving, and transportation strategies to optimize cost and efficiency
Lead purchasing activities, including sourcing and international procurement
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and logistics partners
Ensure raw material availability to support uninterrupted production
Optimize warehouse and material flow strategies
Collaborate cross-functionally, including with IT and operations teams
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency

Qualifications

5–7 years of experience in supply chain, materials, or operations within a manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office tools
Strong understanding of inventory management, forecasting, and procurement
Familiarity with quality standards and ISO environments
Strong analytical skills with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
