Full Job Description

Position Summary

At InterMarine, we are passionate about helping our customers enjoy life on the water. As one of South Florida's leading boat dealerships and service providers, we proudly represent world-renowned brands while delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

We are looking for an organized, motivated, and customer-focused Senior Service Advisor to join our Service Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating service appointments, communicating with customers, creating and managing work orders, and ensuring repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and to InterMarine's high standards. This role works closely with our technicians, Parts Department, and Sales Team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule service appointments and coordinate shop workflow.
Create, update, and manage work orders with accurate documentation.
Assign work orders to technicians and monitor job progress.
Communicate proactively with customers regarding estimates, repair status, timelines, and completed work.
Ensure customer approvals are obtained before additional work is performed.
Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure parts are available before scheduling repairs.
Perform customer walkarounds and explain recommended repairs and completed work.
Recommend additional maintenance, repairs, parts, and accessories when appropriate.
Monitor open work orders and follow up with technicians and customers to ensure timely completion.
Review completed work orders to ensure accurate labor, parts, warranty, and billing.
Work closely with the Sales Team to support new boat commissioning, rigging, customer deliveries, boat shows, and special events.
Maintain a professional, organized, and customer-focused service experience at all times.

Qualifications

At least 5 years experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the marine industry is required.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of marine systems and boating .
Experience with dealership management systems and work order software is preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
