Sales Manager / Sales Lead

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our Sunrise sales team. This person will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring every customer receives a premium, consultative, and personalized experience.

The ideal candidate is a passionate leader with strong knowledge of high-end cycling products and proven experience in premium retail environments. This role is ideal for someone who is not only a manager, but also a coach, strategist, and brand ambassador.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Development

Set clear, challenging, and achievable sales goals and KPIs for the team and individual team members.
Conduct regular performance check-ins, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development.
Build a collaborative, positive, and high-energy team culture rooted in a shared passion for cycling.
Lead daily huddles and weekly sales meetings to align the team, share product knowledge, and celebrate wins.
Coach the sales team on premium customer service, product storytelling, and consultative selling.

Sales & Customer Experience

Lead by example on the sales floor by actively engaging with customers and demonstrating a relationship-based sales approach.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Ensure every customer receives a welcoming, informative, and personalized experience from the first interaction through post-purchase follow-up.
Manage and resolve customer issues or escalations with professionalism, urgency, and empathy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, VIP customers, and local cycling teams or clubs.

Operations & Merchandising

Collaborate with leadership on inventory planning, product assortment, and forecasting to meet the needs of the Fort Lauderdale market.
Maintain a world-class showroom appearance, ensuring bikes and merchandise are presented according to premium retail standards.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
Oversee POS and CRM usage, ensuring data accuracy and effective team adoption.
Support operational discipline across the store, including follow-up, organization, and execution of sales processes.

Community Engagement & Brand Ambassadorship

Plan, promote, and execute in-store events such as product launches, tech clinics, demo days, and group rides.
Represent the company at local cycling events, races, and community activations.
Build partnerships with local cycling clubs, coaches, and community organizations to drive traffic and strengthen brand loyalty.
Act as a key ambassador for the company within the Fort Lauderdale cycling community.

Qualifications & RequirementsWho You Are

Minimum of 3–5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a high-end or premium retail environment such as cycling, sporting goods, automotive, luxury goods, or high-end electronics.
Strong passion for and technical knowledge of modern cycling, including road, mountain, gravel, and e-bike categories.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team to achieve ambitious goals.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a discerning clientele.
Strong business acumen, including experience with sales analysis, reporting, and strategy execution.
Comfortable using retail POS and CRM systems.
Highly organized, proactive, and accountable for results.

Even Better If You Have

Direct experience working in the bicycle industry.
Existing relationships within the Sunrise or South Florida cycling community.
Experience with professional bike fitting systems or methodologies.
Experience planning and executing retail events, group rides, or local marketing initiatives.
Knowledge of premium cycling brands, components, and service standards.
