CNC Laser Operator - Weekend Shift

Friday - Sunday | Three 12-Hour Shifts
Work 36 Hours, Get Paid for 40!

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

LaserForm is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Laser Operator to join our weekend shift team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts that meet customer specifications and quality standards.

We are looking for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing quality parts, and have a strong mechanical aptitude. Previous manufacturing experience is strongly preferred, especially experience operating CNC equipment or working in a fabrication, machining, or production environment. However, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

This position offers a unique schedule of three 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday, allowing employees to enjoy a four-day workweek while still being paid for 40 hours.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment
Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
Troubleshoot minor equipment and production issues
Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, magnets, and other material handling equipment when trained
Maintain accurate production and inspection records
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
Follow company safety policies and ISO 9001 quality standards
Assist with other production-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or production experience strongly preferred
CNC machine operating experience preferred but not required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred
Experience using measuring tools preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Forklift experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motion
Ability to regularly lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to safely handle tools, materials, and machinery
Visual ability to inspect parts and operate equipment safely

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
