Full Job Description

Andrea’s is seeking talented Sous Chefs to become part of its opening culinary leadership team.

Sous Chefs will work directly with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to execute daily service and develop a disciplined, professional kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen stations during preparation and service
Ensure recipes and plating standards are consistently followed
Maintain exceptional steak and seafood execution
Train and develop line and prep cooks
Conduct station checks before service
Maintain proper product rotation and inventory controls
Assist with ordering and receiving
Monitor portions and waste
Maintain exceptional cleanliness and sanitation
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Help establish a professional and accountable kitchen culture

Ideal Candidate

2+ years of Sous Chef or kitchen-management experience
Upscale restaurant experience preferred
Steakhouse and/or seafood experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Excellent organizational abilities
Ability to lead during high-volume service
Strong attention to detail
Desire to advance into senior culinary leadership

Compensation

$70,000–$85,000 starting base salary

Plus performance bonus opportunities, benefits, paid vacation, dining privileges and significant advancement potential.
