Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and relationship-focused Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support our Director of Sales and Marketing in growing our client base, strengthening referral relationships, increasing brand awareness, and expanding our community presence across all our service locations.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and some experience in sales, marketing, business development, community outreach, or client acquisition. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, following up with prospects, and helping families learn about quality home care services.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development Support
- Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase the agency’s client base and revenue.
- Support the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies designed to achieve business growth and client acquisition goals.
- Help establish and maintain relationships with potential clients, families, healthcare professionals, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, physician offices, senior communities, and other referral sources.
- Conduct follow-up calls, emails, and visits with prospects and referral partners as directed.
- Assist with tracking leads, referral sources, prospect interactions, and business development activities.
- Serve as a helpful resource to prospective clients and families by providing basic information about Seniors Helping Seniors services and directing inquiries appropriately.
Marketing and Promotion
- Support the planning and execution of marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and attract potential clients.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of marketing materials, brochures, flyers, presentations, social media content, and other promotional materials.
- Help maintain a positive and professional image of Seniors Helping Seniors in the community.
- Support online and offline marketing activities, including social media updates, email campaigns, community outreach, and promotional events.
- Represent Seniors Helping Seniors at trade shows, networking events, community programs, workshops, senior events, and other outreach activities.
Community Outreach and Liaison Duties
- Act as a liaison between Seniors Helping Seniors and the local community, including healthcare providers, senior centers, community organizations, churches, civic groups, and other relevant organizations.
- Assist in organizing, coordinating, and attending community events, workshops, seminars, and presentations to promote awareness of our senior care services.
- Build and nurture positive relationships with key community stakeholders to enhance the agency’s reputation, visibility, and referral network.
- Conduct in-person visits with referral sources and community partners to educate them about Seniors Helping Seniors services.
Administrative, Reporting, and Quality Support
- Assist with maintaining records of sales, marketing, referral, and outreach activities.
- Track and report key business development activities, leads, referrals, and outcomes.
- Prepare regular updates and reports for the Director of Sales and Marketing regarding outreach activities, follow-up efforts, and recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Program meetings and projects as requested.
- Support internal office activities related to client acquisition, marketing, and customer service.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing or management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, communications, related field.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, community outreach, business development, customer service, healthcare, senior services, or home care is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to professionally represent the company in the community.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, follow up consistently, and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable making phone calls, visiting referral sources, attending events, and speaking with families and community partners.
- Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, or similar tools.
- Must be self-motivated, dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
- Compassionate attitude toward seniors and their families.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home care, senior care, healthcare, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospice, or community-based services.
- Experience with client acquisition, referral development, or healthcare relationship marketing.
- Knowledge of the local senior care market in Gwinnett County and surrounding areas.
- Experience using social media or digital marketing tools for business promotion.
Work Environment and Travel
This position will involve time in the office, in the community, attending events, meeting referral sources, and supporting marketing and sales activities.
Local travel is required. The successful candidate must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance.
