Overview
Are you looking for a different way to impact the lives of adults struggling with mental health and addiction issues, something more than simply sitting in a group room and talking?

At Bricolage Behavioral, we approach treatment differently. We know that children and teens need tools and skills to build resilience, grit, self-confidence, communication, emotional regulation, and other character traits necessary to find lasting recovery from their mental health challenges.

Simply talking about problems is like talking about riding a bike. We don't just talk to our clients, we teach them how to ride. Our experiential and skills-based approach to therapy is not provided anywhere else in the DFW area. Since our methods are not used elsewhere, we provide ongoing training to all therapists on our team to help them impact the lives of our clients in the most effective way possible.

We know that mental health issues are not primarily rooted in "chemical imbalances" in the brain or genetics, but are the product of lived experience that has created unproductive thought and behavior patterns, thought and behavior patterns that can be changed. All of our kiddos have the ability to become the best version of themselves, but they just need some expert guidance to get them there.

If you're ready to approach treatment in a new, innovative, evidence-based way that goes above and beyond what the vast majority of programs across the country are doing, we'd like to hear from you.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Lead IOP groups between the times of 6 pm to 9 pm daily M/W/F.
Provide psychotherapy and behavioral therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Implement conflict management strategies to assist clients in resolving interpersonal issues.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
Engage in crisis management interventions as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for clients in home community care settings.
Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support clients’ behavioral health goals.
Document progress notes and treatment outcomes, ensuring continuity of care.

Experience

A valid LPC, LCSW, LMFT license is required.
Proficient in patient assessment techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance is essential.
Strong skills in psychotherapy, conflict management, applied behavior analysis, and behavioral therapy are preferred.
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for helping individuals achieve their mental health goals.
