Full Job Description

Overview: The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for entering, maintaining, and auditing client and program information within agency databases and electronic health record systems. This position supports behavioral health services by ensuring accurate, timely, and confidential record management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and client confidentiality.

SUPERVISION: Supervised by the Client Engagement Manager

PRIMARY DUTIES:

· Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with agency standards.

· Maintain strict confidentiality of protected health information in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CRF Part 2.

· Coordinate with clinicians, case managers, and administrative staff to ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of documentation.

· Assist with records request, audits, and accreditation reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or GED.

· Minimum of one year of data entry, administrative support, records management, or related office experience.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Strong computer and keyboarding skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Demonstrated leadership and management skills

COMPENSATION:

This is a full-time, in-person, salaried position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a temporary opportunity with the possibility of becoming a regular full-time position, contingent upon agency funding, program needs, and satisfactory performance.
