Savvy Construction is looking for a talented sales professional to join our team!

Savvy Construction is a Colorado based General Contractor who provides clients with full-service Commercial, Multi-Family, and Mixed Use Construction expertise. The Savvy Team is committed to the highest standards in craftsmanship and client services. Our team works on projects that include everything from Retail, Restaurant, Hospitality, & Apartment Complexes, to Industrial, Warehouse, Mixed-Use, and Office Buildings.

Salary

$50,000 - $200,000+ per year. The right person could make well over the 200+ per year in commissions alone. We do not cap commissions. A highly eager person with the right contacts and 1 job alone could exceed these numbers.

The Sales Representative (official title: Senior Account Manager) is responsible for driving new business and managing customer relationships. This position has the opportunity to grow into a leadership role for the company.

Key Performance Objectives:

Driving new business by fostering relationships with referral sources, customers, and leads to meet the sales goals and growth objectives of the business.
Developing a clear understanding of customers vision and needs and communicates their requirements accurately to ensure project plans meet customer expectations.
Providing truthful and accurate information on the status of sales pipeline progression to ensure time is well spent on maximizing winnable opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Prospects for new business opportunities through cold calling activities and develops relationships with key buying influences within targeted accounts. Uses understanding of Savvy Construction’s ideal client profile, value proposition, and capabilities to align selling and business development activities to the company’s strategy.
Networks with architectural firms, engineering firms, commercial realtors, and property owners to build productive relationships that lead to referrals, early insights on potential jobs, and opportunities for biding work.
Manages key relationships with existing customers and identifies new opportunities to grow current accounts.
Works with estimating and operations to document project requirements and ensure the customers scope of work is clearly communicated and understood. Coordinates the flow of information between the customer and the company as part of the process for clarifying project requirements and capturing all relevant details for proposal development.
Leads the job turn over process to estimator and assigned Project Manager utilizing established processes and procedures upon the final award and acceptance of a project.
Attends and networks at trade associations and participates in association committees and working groups (Somewhat restricted right now due to Covid).
Participates in the strategic planning process and provides input on market trends, competitive intelligence and new business opportunities.
Collaborates with marketing on the development of sales tools and marketing collateral, ensuring consistent, targeted messaging. Provides input in marketing strategies and opportunities to leverage trends, social media, and other mediums.

Minimum Requirements:

Demonstrated success in consultative selling required.
Experience generating new business with new customers required.
Willingness to be a self-motivated, personable individual that will bring enthusiasm to Savvy Construction and perspective Customers

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

· 3-5 years in successful Apartment, HOA, and/or Commercial Construction sales preferred.

· Knowledge of Design-Build, reading Blueprints/Drawings, General Contracting, and Commercial Construction preferred.
