Help Bring Seasonal Lighting and Commercial Décor to Life
Novelty Lights is a leading supplier of seasonal lighting, decorative lighting, and commercial décor for homes, businesses, professional installers, municipalities, hospitality properties, events, and national retail and marketplace customers.
We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to create high-quality visual content that supports our brand across digital, print, e-commerce, social media, product packaging, catalogs, and commercial marketing channels.
This role is ideal for a creative, organized designer who understands how to transform product features and marketing concepts into polished visual materials that engage customers and support sales.
This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Aurora, Colorado facility. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.
Position Summary
The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing Manager and collaborate with the Product Marketing, Photography, E-Commerce, Sales, and Product Development teams.
The position supports both our consumer and commercial business segments, including seasonal lighting, patio and event lighting, commercial holiday displays, installer programs, municipalities, hospitality properties, retail partners, and online marketplaces.
The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects, working within brand standards, meeting seasonal deadlines, and creating assets that are both visually compelling and commercially effective.

Key Responsibilities Marketing and Campaign Design
- Design digital assets for seasonal promotions, product launches, email campaigns, landing pages, website banners, and digital advertising.
- Create campaign graphics for seasonal lighting, commercial décor, installer programs, trade shows, retail partnerships, and special promotions.
- Develop creative that supports both B2C and B2B marketing initiatives.
- Maintain consistency with Novelty Lights brand standards, messaging, and visual identity.
- Adapt campaign concepts across multiple formats and marketing channels.
Website and E-Commerce Graphics
- Create graphics for NoveltyLights.com, including homepage banners, category headers, promotional callouts, pop-ups, and landing pages.
- Develop visual content for seasonal lighting, commercial décor, patio lighting, event lighting, and related product categories.
- Enhance product pages with feature callouts, comparison graphics, lifestyle imagery, instructional graphics, and icons.
- Optimize assets for desktop and mobile display.
- Support e-commerce content for third-party marketplaces and retail partners.
Social Media Content
- Create graphics for Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social platforms.
- Adapt website, print, photography, and campaign assets for social media use.
- Repurpose product photography, customer reviews, user-generated content, and project imagery into engaging social content.
- Support the creation of short-form video, reels, motion graphics, and promotional content.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to maintain a consistent visual presence across social platforms.
Email Marketing
- Develop graphics and layouts for HubSpot email marketing campaigns.
- Create campaign emails using product imagery, branded graphics, copy, calls to action, and promotional content.
- Adapt website, social media, and print graphics for email use.
- Support segmented campaigns for consumers, installers, commercial customers, municipalities, retail partners, and other audiences.
- Ensure email graphics are visually effective across desktop and mobile devices.
Print, Catalog, and Large-Format Design
- Design printed catalogs, postcards, brochures, sell sheets, signage, product inserts, packaging, and trade show materials.
- Create large-format graphics for showrooms, exhibits, trade shows, commercial presentations, and promotional displays.
- Prepare files according to printer specifications, including bleeds, crop marks, resolution, and color profiles.
- Coordinate with printers and production partners to ensure accuracy and print readiness.
- Maintain consistency in product imagery, branding, and messaging across printed materials.
Product and Commercial Décor Support
- Enhance product photography with overlay graphics, icons, specifications, dimensions, instructions, and feature callouts.
- Create visual materials for seasonal lighting, commercial décor displays, pole mounts, ground mounts, illuminated sculptures, greenery, trees, photo opportunities, and other decorative products.
- Develop presentation decks, proposal graphics, sell sheets, and marketing collateral for commercial sales teams and installer partners.
- Create infographics and illustrations that simplify technical product information.
- Support product launches from initial concept through final marketing release.
Asset Management and Collaboration
- Organize and maintain design files, templates, fonts, logos, photography, and visual assets.
- Follow consistent naming conventions and file-storage procedures.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Photography, E-Commerce, Product Development, Sales, and other departments.
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced seasonal environment.
- Provide timely creative support during peak sales and holiday periods.
- Participate in in-person meetings, product reviews, photography planning, and collaborative design sessions at the Aurora facility.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of professional graphic design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, print, branding, and marketing design.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Acrobat
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color, composition, and brand consistency.
- Experience preparing production-ready files for commercial printing.
- Experience designing for websites, email, digital advertising, and social media.
- Strong photo-editing, image-retouching, and color-correction skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Strong organizational and file-management skills.
- Ability to accept feedback and revise creative work collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
- Ability to work full-time and in person at the Novelty Lights facility in Aurora, Colorado.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub.
- Experience with e-commerce or product-focused businesses.
- Experience creating Amazon A+ Content or marketplace graphics.
- Experience designing product packaging.
- Experience with catalogs and large-format print production.
- Experience creating trade show graphics and commercial sales materials.
- Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS.
- Experience with Canva Pro.
- Basic video-editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity and creative tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Adobe Firefly, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting both consumer and business-to-business marketing.
- Experience working with product photography and physical products.

Work Location
Aurora, Colorado
This position is performed entirely on-site. The Graphic Designer will work directly with products, photography, samples, displays, printed materials, and cross-functional teams.
This is not a remote or hybrid position.
