Must have expert in plastic injection molding processes, with extensive knowledge of machine setup, process optimization.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational responsibility for the facility. Must meet all customer and corporate expectations by planning, coordinating and implementing plans designed to achieve results and utilize the assets of the company in a profitable manner.

Essential Functions

PRIMARY

Plans and directs plant operations and managing manufacturing personnel

Analyze workflows, set up production processes to eliminate waste and accelerate output.

Author standard operating procedures, process flow diagrams.

Investigate equipment failures or process defects and develop permanent solutions

Continuous audits of all quality systems to ensure complete conformance to policies and procedures.

Assure resources utilized efficiently and assure 100% on time delivery of a quality product to customers.

Oversee any and all special commitments and projects in facility

Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations, including all licenses and inspections.

Coordinates the activities of all external resources required to meet expectations.

Prepares written reports and records.

Select equipment and services where appropriate.

Ensure adherence to ISO [Quality and Environmental] procedures, policies and work instructions.

Performs related duties as required or as assigned by the president or vice president.

SECONDARY

Assures are personnel are motivated to meet or exceed expectations.

Continuously improves skill set to expand on value to organization

Provides mentoring to subordinates to raise their level of expertise.

Other tasks as assigned

Required Education and Experience

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Associate Degree in Technical Area can waive educational requirement with adequate prior experience.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the injection mold field with 3 years in supervisory capacity.

Work Environment

This job is operated in a professional office and manufacturing environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands. The employee frequently is required to hear, talk, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Reach with arms and hands. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
