Full Job Description

Pleasant Manor Healthcare & Rehabilitation is currently looking for an Experienced Full-time Cook to join our skilled nursing facility. Are you someone with high energy who has a passion for quality care and service for patients. If so, we would love to consider you!

Shift: Evening / Doubble Weekend

Essential Functions:

Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes, special diet orders, and sanitary regulations.
Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submit to the Director of Food Services.
Assist in establishing food service production line and ensure meals are prepared on time.
Process diet changed and new diets as received from Nursing Services.
Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as with other departments within the facility to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.

Qualifications:

Cooking experience in large quantities is required
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to follow recipes and diet restrictions
Passion for helping people
Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
Experience as a cook preferred
