Cast Stone Estimator / Production Manager

Location: Fort Worth, Texas Job Type: Full-Time Classification: Exempt | Salaried

About Us

We are a growing cast stone manufacturer serving commercial and residential construction markets throughout Texas. Our company is committed to producing high-quality architectural cast stone products while delivering exceptional customer service and dependable project support. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cast Stone Estimator / Production Manager to join our team and help lead both estimating and production operations.

Position Summary

The Cast Stone Estimator / Production Manager is responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, reviewing architectural plans and specifications, coordinating production schedules, managing inventory and workflow, and supporting projects from bidding through manufacturing and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cast stone, precast concrete, masonry, or architectural building products and possess strong organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Estimating Duties

· Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents

· Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare accurate estimates

· Prepare quotations and proposals for contractors and customers

· Coordinate pricing, lead times, and material requirements

· Communicate with contractors, architects, and project managers

· Track bid opportunities and maintain estimating records

· Support sales and project coordination throughout project lifecycle

Production Management Duties

· Coordinate daily production schedules and manufacturing workflow

· Manage production priorities to meet project deadlines

· Monitor inventory levels, raw materials, and production needs

· Ensure product quality and compliance with specifications

· Coordinate with shop personnel, dispatch, and operations teams

· Improve production efficiency and workflow processes

· Maintain a safe, organized, and productive manufacturing environment

· Assist with labor planning and scheduling

Qualifications

· 3+ years of estimating, production, or manufacturing experience preferred

· Experience in cast stone, precast concrete, masonry, or construction materials preferred

· Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications

· Knowledge of production scheduling and inventory management

· Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Leadership and team management experience preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software

· Strong communication and customer service skills
