Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic fast food service team in delivering exceptional Caribbean dining experiences. As a key leader, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure top-notch customer service, and maintain a vibrant, efficient environment. Your passion for hospitality and food industry expertise will drive the success of our casual or fine dining establishment, inspiring staff and delighting guests at every turn. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills while fostering a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

Duties

Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow
Lead staff training and development initiatives to uphold high standards in food preparation, customer service, and food safety protocols
Oversee food handling, kitchen management, and food production to guarantee quality and consistency in every dish served
Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and manage ordering processes using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
Handle cash transactions accurately, reconcile registers, and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures
Supervise food safety practices and ensure adherence to health regulations across all departments
Collaborate with culinary teams on menu planning, catering events, banquet services, and special promotions
Foster a welcoming environment for guests by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring exceptional hospitality at all times
Monitor budget performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to maximize profitability
Lead by example in supervising staff performance, conducting interviews for new hires, and supporting team development

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management roles with supervising responsibilities
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining settings
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
Demonstrated skills in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within the food industry
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in staff training & development and team management
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Prior experience in managing fast-paced environments like quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining operational efficiency
Hospitality management background including hotel or catering experience is a plus
