About us

My Family Physicians is a small business in Miami Lakes, FL 33014. We are supportive, collaborative and engaging.

As a Front desk Receptionist you will be responsible for greeting patients, check them in and out, answering phones and administrative support as needed to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management such as taking vitals and calling patients with lab results. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, friendly attitude and in a timely manner. Must have experience with checking insurances and referrals.

Responsibilities

Interview patients and document basic medical history
Organize and schedule appointments
Update medical records and insurance
Check patients in/out
Assist during medical examinations
Prepare and clean treatment rooms
Answer phones
Insurance Eligibility and Referrals.

Skills

Proven working experience as a front desk receptionist in medical office
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Bilingual

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 per hour
