Role Summary

We are seeking a precise and motivated CNC Lathe Machinist to become a key member of our advanced manufacturing site in Dover, OH, 44622. Core Duties

Configure and run CNC lathe equipment to manufacture components that meet exact standards.
Analyze technical schematics, blueprints, and production orders to establish necessary machining steps.
Oversee equipment functionality and perform necessary tweaks to maximize output and precision.
Execute regular upkeep on machinery to help extend equipment lifespan and boost operational reliability.
Utilize precision instruments to perform inspections, ensuring all parts align with required tolerances.
Work alongside colleagues to identify and fix production challenges as they occur.
Keep the workspace tidy and orderly while helping maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.

Required Skills and Experience

Completion of high school or GED; a technical certificate in machining is a plus.
Demonstrated background working as a CNC lathe operator or in a comparable capacity.
Solid grasp of CNC machine programming and functional operation.
Prior experience utilizing overhead crane systems.
Skilled at deciphering and applying information from technical blueprints and drawings.
Competency with standard precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
High level of accuracy to ensure the delivery of superior quality results.
Capable of functioning effectively both solo and within a group setting in a high-speed production area.
Strong analytical abilities and a forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.
