Job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Duties
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, such as journal entries and month-end close procedures
- Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions
- Assist with tax preparation and filing activities
- Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor liquidity and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in using QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
